Welcome to your superhero and superhero-lovers date guide!
Here you’ll find detailed dates, complete with food, activities, and themes. I’ve divided your dates into Dates for Superheroes, and SuperDates for superhero geeks, so you should find something to fit any personality type.
I’ve calibrated the dates so that they should each speak to four of the five love languages—gifts, words, acts of service, and time together—and I trust you don’t need help taking care of touch. Remember, someone else’s love language might not be the same as yours, so don’t eliminate the gifts, or the conversation, just because that’s not what makes you feel loved: until you know the other person’s love language well, you should play it safe and speak to them all. (Google “5 love languages” if you’re confused)
Why am I qualified to write this? Because three weeks after meeting my husband, I was swing dancing with him on a crane in a meteor shower. I used to walk him home at night underground through secret illegal tunnels. Three months after meeting him, I took him to Paraguay. And when he proposed, he wrote me a freaking computer program that asked me about my favorite superheroes. I know geeks, and I know adventurous, superhero-style romance.
Keep this book a secret, and you’ll look like a creative genius.
Now go get ‘em, Tiger!
